We had a great visit here. Sat outside and enjoyed the lovely weather. The service was excellent and the food delicious.
The restaurant was very clean & inviting, however, tonight's wait staff was horrible. The food was delicious, as always. Perfectly prepared! Props to the maker of the squash casserole, it was amazing! Our particular waitress was rude. Several times I moved emptied plates to the end of table, to be removed, they weren't. Tea glasses weren't kept filled & 3 separate times we asked for items that were never brought out. ( sour cream, butter, salad dressing). Tonight we were celebrating my husbands birthday, the experience was a huge disappointment!! It saddens me to see the decline in staff & their manners towards customers! My husband proposed to me @ The Galley 12 years ago, so anniversary's, birthdays, Valentines Day & Christmas parties have been a tradition there for us. After tonight, we will be looking for a new place to celebrate our special occasions!!!!
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice night out.
The service was top notch. The food was excellent. This was our last meal out on our vacation and it was the best and only good meal we had. I would definitely recommend. I would also come back if we returned to the area.
If traveling by boat you can park at the fuel dock but the slips are extremely shallow. If you are coming in swim cover-up, you are only permitted to sit outside but the patio faces west and at that time the sun is right in your eyes or on your back. I would not recommend this for a casual bite or drink for boaters.
